Captura Health provides clinical documentation integrity solutions aimed at improving charge capture for emergency and hospital medicine. Our Services include identifying potential missed documentation opportunities and integrating with electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate documentation improvements.
3. Eligibility
- You must be a licensed medical provider, hospital administrator, or authorized healthcare professional.
- At least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts.
- In compliance with all applicable laws and regulations when using our Services.
4. User Accounts and Security
- Users must create an account to access the Services.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Captura Health is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from failure to secure your login information.
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) is required for enhanced security.
5. HIPAA Compliance and Data Security
- Captura Health is designed to comply with HIPAA regulations.
- We employ end-to-end encryption, secure data storage, and access auditing to protect patient information.
- We do not store full patient charts, only necessary data required for documentation integrity analysis.
- You agree to use our Services in a manner that does not violate HIPAA or other patient privacy regulations.
6. Permitted Use and Restrictions
You may:
- Use our platform for reviewing and improving clinical documentation.
- Accept or decline AI-suggested documentation recommendations.
- Utilize dashboard reports for tracking documentation metrics.
You may NOT:
- Use the Services for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purposes.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code.
- Share patient data beyond permissible limits.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access or manipulate the platform.
7. Electronic Health Record (EHR) Integration
- Our Services integrate with Epic and other EHR platforms using FHIR APIs.
- Users acknowledge that Captura Health does not alter or submit documentation without provider approval.
- Users are responsible for ensuring documentation accuracy before submission.
8. Intellectual Property
- All content, software, and trademarks within Captura Health are owned by us or licensed to us.
- Users do not obtain ownership of any part of the platform by using it.
- Any feedback provided to Captura Health may be used to improve our Services without compensation.
9. Payment and Subscription
- Certain features of Captura Health may require a subscription.
- Fees, payment terms, and cancellation policies will be outlined in separate agreements.
- No refunds are provided unless explicitly stated.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Captura Health provides documentation assistance but does not replace professional judgment.
- We are not responsible for incorrect documentation, revenue losses, or any penalties incurred due to user actions.
- Our platform is provided "as is," and we disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Termination and Suspension
- We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
- Users may terminate their accounts at any time by contacting support.
